I am back again to talk a little bit more about the Law of Attraction.
Last time – I talked about my own initial struggles with trying to adapt myself to my (at that time) newfound understanding of Law of Attraction & the fact that it was working all the time – & listening to ALL of my thoughts & picking up on where my attention was really focused – which was on the feeling of this being an effort & struggle – & then including more of that effort & struggle – into my experience.
And I also talked about the fact that there’s no ‘on-off switch’ – so I couldn’t turn the Law of Attraction off – while I was finding my way with it.
While the Law of Attraction can work for us – it can also work against us – resulting in ‘hit & miss’ results for our manifesting.
But really – it’s not the Law of Attraction that’s working against us – it’s just doing what it does!
It’s really all about where we’re at – what we’re thinking – where our attention is & what we’re feeling throughout our whole body.
I also talked about incorporating – working WITH the Law of Attraction – as a way of life.
And – in order to build this new way of doing things into your life – so that it becomes automatic – you’ll need to set things up in a way that will be supportive & provide you with the best conditions for you to succeed with this.
The best conditions for your success will depend – to a large degree – on what things trigger you to fall off your track.
Here is an example of one such thing – that’s pretty relatable to most of us –
Here you are – happily going along your manifesting track – when out of left field enters person ‘X’ – who you happen to think is a really irritating sort!
And as usual she’s doing that irritating thing that she always does!!
And before you know it – your attention diverts – from your happy manifesting track – over to person ‘X’ & the irritating thing that she’s doing.
And while it’s over there – the Law of Attraction is listening in – (coz you can’t turn it off) – & includes some more of the same feeling of irritation for you to experience (what you focus on truly expands!)
And this experience of more irritation – can come in the form of:
- person ‘X’ doing more irritating things
- or in the form of your own personal feeling of irritation within you
- or in the form of other irritating people
- or things in general that are irritating
- or ALL OF THE ABOVE!!
Before you know it – you’ve fallen off your track & now joined onto the ‘irritation track’ instead – successfully manifesting lots of irritations – & NONE of your dream!!
Can you relate?!!
What we want to work towards – ultimately – is to be more consistently on our own track – in a state of being that is positively focused on what we want – & then have that be more automatic – so that the Law of Attraction will pick that up & then include more of that to our experience.
From our example above – to help you set up the best conditions for your success – when this kind of trigger is distracting or blocking you – ideally you would need to remove this trigger.
But while we can manage some of our external environment to be supportive of us – often it’s just not possible – or realistic – to simply erase these Person ‘X’ things from our lives!
The solution is to manage how we react to them.
So really – what this all boils down to – is managing our own state of being as we move through our everyday lives! – Having this kind of staying power – no matter what’s going on around us!
My philosophy with leveraging the Law of Attraction – is to make – managing ourselves & our focus etc – into a way of life. To get this part of it right before we begin to deliberately create our dream.
I’ve been getting some help with my exercising in the last few months & my instructor tells me all the time – to make sure I get the form of the exercise right – before performing the action of the exercise itself.
The reason the form is important is that it protects your body from injury – but also – it’s for the purpose of getting the most ‘bang for your buck’ from performing that action – so that it gets the results – of building the muscle – faster & more efficiently!
In the end – the muscle moves into a higher level of strength & ability – that becomes ‘normal’ for it!
In the same way – I believe we are much more likely to get the best ‘bang for our buck’ – if we get the form that builds a strong & bolstered attraction staying-power before we start to do our creating deliberately.
That way – we will get our creating results much faster & more efficiently – not to mention consistently – because – our staying-power moves into this new & higher level of strength & ability – that is now the new ‘normal’ for it!!
I just think that this way makes sense & gets the cart at the right end of the horse!
